- Narrated Abu Saeed AlKhudri: Some Ansari persons asked for something from Allah Messenger ﷺ ﷺ and he gave them. They again asked him for something and he again gave them. And then they asked him and he gave them again till all that was with him finished. And then he said If I had anything. I would not keep it away from you. Remember Whoever abstains from asking others; Allah will make him contented; and whoever tries to make himself self-sufficient; Allah will make him self-sufficient. And whoever remains patient; Allah will make him patient. Nobody can be given a blessing better and greater than patience. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5970
- Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; The Prophet Solomon once said; Tonight I will sleep with ninety women; each of whom will bring forth a would-be cavalier who will fight in Allah Cause. On this; his companion said to him; Say: Allah willing! But he did not say Allah willing. Solomon then slept with all the women; but none of them became pregnant but one woman who later delivered a halfman. By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad soul is; if he Solomon had said; Allah willing all his wives would have brought forth boys and they would have fought in Allah Cause as cavaliers. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2046
- Abu Saeed reported that Allah Messenger ﷺ sat on the pulpit and said: Allah gave a choice to His servant that he may opt the beauties of the world or that which is with Him and the servant chose that which was with Him. Thereupon Abu Bakr wept and he wept bitterly and said: Let our fathers and our mothers be taken as ransom for you. It was Allah Messenger ﷺ who had been given the choice and Abu Bakr knew it better than us; and Allah Messenger ﷺ is reported to have said: Behold; of all people the most generous toward me in regard to his companionship and his property was Abu Bakr and were I to choose anyone as my bosom friend; I would have chosen Abu Bakr as my dear friend; but for him I cherish Islamic brotherliness and love. There shall be left open no window in the Masjid except Abu Bakr window. SahihMuslim-017-001-20581
- Narrated AlBara Bin Azib: A piece of silken cloth was given to the Prophet ﷺ as a present and the people handed it over amongst themselves and were astonished at its beauty and softness. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Are you astonished at it? They said; Yes; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said; By Him in Whose Hand my soul is; the handkerchiefs of Saad in Paradise are better than it. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2047
- Narrated Wathilah Bin AlAsqa: that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Indeed Allah has chosen Ismail from the children of Ibrahim; and He chose Banu Kinanah from the children of Ismail; and He chose the Quraish from Banu Kinanah; and He chose Banu Hashim from Quraish; and He chose me from Banu Hashim. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-8751
- Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: Give gifts; for indeed the gift removes bad feelings from the chest. And let the neighbor not look down upon the gift of her neighbor; even if it be the lower shanks of sheep. [Abu Eisa said:] This Hadith is Gharib from this route. Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it as charitable gifts. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5123
- The same hadith has been narrated on the authority of Muhammad b Saad and these words are also there : The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave a stroke on my neck or between my two shoulders and said: Sad; do you fight with me simply because I gave a share to a man? SahihMuslim-017-001-18670
- Abu Huraira reported Allah Messenger ﷺ as saying: The mother of every person gives him birth according to his true nature. It is subsequently his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian or a Magian. Had his parents been Muslim he would have also remained a Muslim. Every person to whom his mother gives birth has two aspects of his life ; when his mother gives birth Satan strikes him but it was not the case with Mary and her son Jesus Christ. SahihMuslim-017-001-19457

- It was narrated from Umar Bin AlKhattab that: He saw a Hullah of Sira silk being offered for sale at the door of the Masjid. I said: O Messenger of Allah; why dont you buy this and wear it on Fridays; and when meeting the delegations when they come to you? The Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL said: This is only worn by one who has no share in the Hereafter. After that some other Hullahs were brought to the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL and he gave me one. He said: O Messenger of Allah; you gave me this when you said what you said about it! The Prophet SAWSYMOBOL said: I did not give it to you to wear it! - Narrated Abdullah Bin AlSadi: That when he went to Umar during his Caliphate. Umar said to him; Havent I been told that you do certain jobs for the people but when you are given payment you refuse to take it? Abdullah added: I said; Yes. Umar said; Why do you do so? I said; I have horses and slaves and I am living in prosperity and I wish that my payment should be kept as a charitable gift for the Muslims. Umar said; Do not do so; for I intended to do the same as you do. Allah Messenger ﷺ s used to give me gifts and I used to say to him; Give it to a more needy one than me. Once he gave me some money and I said; Give it to a more needy person than me; whereupon the Prophet ﷺ said; Take it and keep it in your possession and then give it in charity. Take what ever comes to you of this money if you are not keen to have it and not asking for it; otherwise i.e.; if it does not come to you do not seek to have it yourself. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1262
- Ibn Seereen said: Ibn Abbas said to his muadhdhin on a rainy day: when you utter the words I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; do not say; Come to prayer but say Pray at your homes; By this announcement the people were surprised. He said: One who was better than me has done it. The Friday prayer is an obligatory duty. But I disliked to put you to hardship so that you might walk in mud and rain. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-28044
- It was narrated from Zaid Bin Zabyan who attributed it to Abu Dharr that: The Prophet ﷺ said: There are three whom Allah SWT loves: A man who comes to some people and asks to be given something for the sake of Allah and not for the sake of their relationship; but they do not give him; so a man stayed behind and gave it to him in secret; and no one knew of his giving except Allah SWT and the one to whom he gave it. People who travel all night until sleep becomes dearer to them than anything equated with it; so they lay down their heads and slept ; then a man among them got up and started praying to Me and beseeching Me; reciting My Verses. And a man who was on a campaign and met the enemy and they fled; but he went forward pursuing them until he was killed or victory was granted. SunanAlNasai-017-001-15564

He said: By Allah; give that to him or this sword would be thrust into my side. So she gave that to him; and he came with that to Allah Apostle ﷺ and gave that to him; and he opened the door. The rest of the hadith is the same as the above one. SahihMuslim-017-001-23144
- Abdullah reported: We were on the night of Friday staying in the Masjid when a person from the Ansar came there and said: If a person finds hiswoman along with a man; and he speaks about it; you would lash him; and if he kills; you will kill him; and if he keeps quiet he shall have to consume anger. By Allah; I will definitely ask about him from Allah Mescenger ﷺ. On the following day he came to Allah Messenger ﷺ and asked him thus: If a man were to find with his wife a man and if he were to talk about it; you would lash him; and if he killed; you would kill him; and if he were to keep quiet. he would consume anger; whereupon he the Holy Prophet said: Allah; solve this problem ; and he began to supplicate before Him ; and then the verses pertaining to lian were revealed: Those who accuse their wives and have no witnesses except themselves xxiv. 6. The person was then put to test according to these verses in the presence of the people. There came he and his wife in the presence of Allah Messenger ﷺ ; and they invoked curses in order to testify their claim. The man swore four times in the name of Allah that he was one of the truthful and then invoked curse for the fifth time saying: Let there be curse of Allah upon him if he were among the liars. Then she began to invoke curse. Allah Messenger ﷺ said to her: just wait and curse after considering over it ; but she refused and invoked curse and when she turned away; he Allah Apostle said: It seems that this woman shall give birth to a curly-haired black child; And so she did gave birth to a curly-haired black child.
