1. Abu Huraira reported Allah Messenger ﷺ as saying: When the time draws near when the Resurrection is near a believer dream can hardly be false. And the truest vision will be of one who is himself the most truthful in speech; for the vision of a Muslim is the forty-fifth part of Prophecy; and dreams are of three types: one good dream which is a sort of good tidings from Allah; the evil dream which causes pain is from the satan; and the third one is a suggestion of one own mind; so if any one of you sees a dream which he does not like he should stand up and offer prayer and he should not relate it to people; and he said: I would love to see fetters in the dream ; but I dislike wearing of necklace; for the fetters is an indication of one steadfastness in religion. Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger of Allah s.a.w said: When time draws near; the dreams of a believer will hardly ever fail to come true; and the most truthful of them in dreams will be the truest in speech among them. It was narrated from Sulaiman Bin Buraidah that his father said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The sanctity of the wives of the Mujahidin to those who stay behind is like the sanctity of their mothers. Aisha said; They suspected that they were treated as liars by their people ; I said; But they were sure that their people treated them as liars and it was not a matter of suspicion. She said; Yes; upon my life they were sure about it. I said to her. So they Apostles suspected that they were betrayed by Allah. She said; Allah forbid! The Apostles never suspected their Lord of such a thing. I said; What about this Verse then? She said; It is about the Apostles followers who believed in their Lord and trusted their Apostles; but the period of trials was prolonged and victory was delayed till the Apostles gave up all hope of converting those of the people who disbelieved them and the Apostles thought that their followers treated them as liars; thereupon Allah help came to them. Narrated Abdullah Bin Amr: The Prophet ﷺ said; Whoever has the following four characteristics will be a pure hypocrite and whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy unless and until he gives it up. 1. Whenever he is entrusted; he betrays. 2. Whenever he speaks; he tells a lie. 3. Whenever he makes a covenant; he proves treacherous. 4. 7. Ibn Abbas said Hilal Bin Umayah accused his wife in the presence of Prophet ﷺ of having committed adultery with Sharik Bin Sahma. The Prophet ﷺ said Produce evidence or you must receive punishment on your back. He said Apostle of Allaah ﷺ when one of us sees a man having intercourse with his wife should he go and seek evidence? But the Prophet ﷺ merely said You must produce evidence or you must receive punishment on your back. Hilal then said By Him Who sent you with the Truth; I am speaking Truly. May Allaah send down something which will free my back from punishment. Then the following Quranic verses were revealed And those who make charges against their spouses but have no witnesses except themselves reciting till he reached one of those who speak the truth. The Prophet ﷺ then returned and sent for them and they came to him. Hilal Bin Umayah stood up and testified and the Prophet ﷺ was saying Allaah knows that one of you is lying. Will one of you repent? Then the woman got up and testified; but when she was about to do it a fifth time saying that Allaahs anger be upon her if he was one of those who spoke the truth; they said to her this is the deciding one. Ibn Abbas said She then hesitated and drew back so that we thought the she would withdraw what she said Look and see whether she gives birth to a child with eyes looking as if they have antimony in them; wide buttocks and fat legs; if she did. Sharik Bin Sahma will be its father. She then gave birth to a child of a similar description. The Prophet ﷺ thereupon said If it were not for what has already been stated in Allaahs book I would have dealt severely with her.Abu Dawud said This tradition has been transmitted by the people of Medina alone. It was narrated that Abu Huraira and Abu Dharr said: The Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL would sit among his Companions and if a stranger came; he would not know which of them was he the Prophet SAWSYMOBOL until he asked. So we suggested to the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL that we should make a dais for him so that any stranger would know him if he came to him. So we built for him a bench made of clay on which he used to sit. One day we were sitting and the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL was sitting in his spot; when a man came along who was the most handsome and good-smelling of all people; and it was as if no dirt had ever touched his garments. He came near the edge of the rug and greeted him; saying: Peace be upon you; O Muhammad! He returned the greeting; and he said: Shall I come closer; O Muhammad? He came a little closer; and he kept telling him to come closer; until he put his hands on the knees of the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL. He said: O Muhammad; tell me; what is Islam? He said: Islam means to worship Allah and not associate anything with Him; to establish Salah; to pay Zakah; to perform Hajj to the House; and to fast Ramadan. He said: If I do that; will I have submitted be a Muslim ? He said: Yes. He said: You have spoken the truth; we found it odd. He said: O Muhammad; tell me; what is faith? He said: To believe in Allah [SWT]; His Angels; the Book; the Prophets; and to believe in the Divine Decree. He said: If I do that; will I have believed? The Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL said: Yes. He said: You have spoken the truth. He said: O Muhammad; tell me; what is AlIhsan? He said: To worship Allah [SWT] as if you can see Him; for although you cannot see Him; He can see you. When you see the herdsmen competing in building tall buildings; when you see the barefoot and naked ruling the Earth; when you see a woman giving birth to her mistress. Five things which no one knows except Allah [SWT]. Verily; Allah; with Him alone is the knowledge of the Hour up to His saying: Verily; Allah is All-Knower; All-Aware of things. Then he said: No; by the One who sent Muhammad with the truth; with guidance and glad tidings; I did not know him more than any man among you. 9. Abu Qatadah said We went out with the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ in the year of Hunain. And when the armies met; the Muslims suffered a reverse. I saw one of the polytheists prevailing over a Muslim; so I went round him till I came to him from behind and struck him with my sword at the vein between his neck and shoulder. He came towards me and closed with me; so that I felt death was near; but he was overtaken by death and let me go. I then caught upon on Umar Bin AlKhattab and said to him What is the matter with the people? He said It is what Allaah has commanded. Then the people returned and the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ sat down and said If anyone kills a man and can prove it; he will get his spoil. I stood up and said Who will testify for me? I then sat down. He said again If anyone kills a man and can prove it; he will get his spoil. I stood up and said Who will testify for me? I then sat down. He then said the same for the third time. I then stood up. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ said What is the matter with you; Abu Qatadah? I told him the story. A man from the people said He has spoken the truth; and I have this spoil with me; so make him agreeable to take something in exchange. Abu Bakr said In that case I swear by Allaah that he must not do so. One of the Allaahs heroes does not fight for Allaah and his Apostle and then give you his spoil. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ said He has spoken the truth; hand it over to him. Abu Qatadah said he handed it over to me; I sold the coat of mail and brought a garden among Banu Salamh.
